Our Projects & Partnerships
The West Hartford Human Rights Coalition is a growing organization, and so is our network of projects and partnerships. We believe that advancing human rights locally is most effective when organizations work together, combining their relationships, resources, knowledge, and capacity to respond to community needs.
Below are some of the projects and partnerships we have developed and supported to date. We look forward to continuing to build new collaborations with organizations and community members across West Hartford and the surrounding area.
Current Projects
Community Care & Share: Food & Essential Items Program
A collaborative program providing food, hygiene products, diapers, household essentials, and other basic-needs items to local individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.
In partnership with Hartford Deportation Defense and Fern Street Food Ministry.
Emergency Assistance Fund
Provides emergency financial assistance to local individuals and families facing urgent needs or unexpected hardship. Through partnerships with local organizations and community groups, the fund helps connect resources to community members when timely assistance is needed.
